I don't think there is any rule about copying someone else's build. You should be alright but it might not hurt to ask the builder if you are planning on modeling his/her personal railroad. Otherwise the engine itself shouldn't be a problem. Well I was intending to copy the general build, then divert into making them BN locos. |

I keep seeing this thread come up in hopes of seeing pics of Dan's B32s on a layout or something.
I thought it was the purpose of putting up step by step pics of builds with explanations and how to's and that it would make anyone feel good that someone used that info in their own builds.
I intended to do one of these as well. Instead I hope to use the updates Dan made to his models to my C32-8 as a practice run and not having to hack the shell in half. I'll do a B32 later on.
