Tangled web indeed! Lol! West to East is a pretty decent swing and High hoods ae nice in their own right! Especially the Southern ones!
And yes not a day goes by I don't plot something rofl! But getting them into something coherent is a different story haha!
Im def gonna start small. As for power right now I've got a Athearn Amtrak CF7, the AHM ATSF C415 plus a PNW resins C415 shell, a PNW Resins super 7 shell, and then the E60 so far. None of them are at a point to be painted yet. Oh and I am throwing in for the Bpwser c415 too. I think I'll start with the grain cars first just to get a scheme going and go from there

I do want to get some Wester styled ACe's and some of the heritage schemes done too.
And am going to make a SD40-2 local unit too. It'd prolly not prototypical but I like the southern style high hoods myself so I'll probably model it in that way

That's true! I couldn't get my hands on some Scale Trains ones like I wanted but was thinking an Athearn one to start with but we shall see. A lot of it will depend on how much a camper will be and where I end up after training. but that's also not till this summer either so we shall see haha! Def gotta at least get some Illustrator skills down to make some decal proofs to print no matter what
