Well its nice these will be off the bench soon, I have to build two more for a customer, then I'm out of SD45T-2R land and into the next builds.. Whats next? Hmmm I'll just keep that to myself for now ;D but it's going to be fun Both units still need minor details and the Tsunami's, then Ill glue to cabs down permanently and get rid of the MV lenses ;D Thanks to everybody who followed along, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.. Until next time ( next week more then likely ) ;D Paul Still have to add the cab armrests and antenna's

I feel oily looking at those, man those are SLLLLLick!!!!!!!!!! Were these running when cabeese were still vogue or they FRED's era? I can sure picture the twins pulling a long mixed string of Container Flat/Wells, and Auto Carriers, with or without the new SP Caboose at the tail!!

Thanks for the kind words Justin, They were indeed around with Cabeese and FREDs, SP ran cabooses until the end on special movements and locals in certain districts...So I can put and will put one on certain trains when I run them..These two are part of a 4 unit helper set, but will probably be on the point at times as well. Glad you enjoyed seeing them, Paul

Glad you enjoyed seeing them, Paul They still use a caboose on the Ballast train (it is gritty, maroon and orange in all its glory), I have been seeing it in Auburn down as far a Loomis, there is a Plasser Unit on a stubbed out siding, they are winter-proofing the Sierra's from I can tell.
