Dude, nicest F40 I've seen so far, with the Kaslo etchings!

Go run that in front of Shron once his F40's come out and he'll ask you "how do you like my F40?" It's happened before with AMM resin LRC coaches to a friend of mine...er...just don't tell him that you scratched it.
Seriously though, this is really top notch. I hope that mine turns out half as good as yours did, as I will be hard pressed to top this masterpiece.

Awesome job!! Have a shell with the kaslo parts sitting on the back shelf.. got it, but in reality way to modern for my tastes..

Darn...I knew I should have posted yesterday, but if you color the inside of the windows with a black sharpie, it'll make them disappear, and then you can use the sharpie to do the window gaskets much more easily than with paint. It might be worth popping the glazing out...and then I install the glazing with Micro Krystal Kleer just so that it doesn't damage the glazing.
This thing is outstanding.

I painted the inside of the front windows cream colour to match the interior I will be installing. I was Looking at pictures of the inside of the cab and the prototype does not have a thick window sill like what you see on my shell. the dash board starts right from the window, so i'm going to try and make that thick window sill part of the dash board. will see how it comes out looking.

Here is a couple of shots of the interior. I was thinking of installing a cab light, it would be a surface mount dimly lit yellow LED mounted to the ceiling in the cab. I never seen that done, is it something you guys would recommend.

Try it. The biggest problem with detailed cab interiors is that you can't see them once the model is assembled and the windows glazed. Of course, if it works too well, you'll find yourself upgrading the cab details more!

5 months later a little more progress. I installed the interior and finished the wiring. I still need to fix the gasket around the windshield. Whats the best way to install the speaker, facing up towards the fans? or down to the track?

Progressing nicely. Since it's already got an enclosure, I'd say the speaker pointed up so the sound can escape the shell through the radiator fans would be the way to go.

I seriously hope that mine turns out this well.
What did you use for the gray, yellow and blue paint Arthur?

I used TLT CN yellow, Floquil CN Gray #17 and Polyscale D&H Avon Blue. The blue I only used as touch up paint where ever the Microscale sticker tore or cracked. Then I sprayed the shell with Floquil dull cote.
