I used Floquil Reefer Yellow and Floquil Caboose Red when I did the FEC 2000 and they looked pretty good. That will work for the 714's colors, but I still haven't figured out how to match the "new" blue color. Post photos when you get some work done, I would like to see!

The Florida East Coast blue to my eyes looks real close to Mopac blue.If not dead on a good place to start.

Did you paint or use decals for your silver trim on your FEC 2000

I used silver stripe decals for the trim on 2000, I think they were from MicroScales 87-142 "FEC Early Hoods" decals. Keep posting more photos of your work....love the progress so far!
