can someone tell me the best ay to get the brass step treads to lay flat every time i cut them out they curel up (and im talking about the ones already cut for specific locos) i am just having a hard time gluing them on if anyone can give me some helpful hints on getting them not to curl and my other methods of attaching them such as double sided tape could this possible ork.

I usually turn the curl down and slowly roll over it with an Xacto knife handle (remove the blade first) using light, even pressure. If the tread curves the other way, just turn it over and roll it again, using lighter pressure. A couple of passes is usually all it takes to get any photo etch part flat.

I use cutters from Micro Mark for cutting the parts from the trees and then I use the bending jig it is just the ticket and I never have them curl
