Arrowhead Lines subsidiary the Minneapolis MidWestern has added some new used power to its roster in the form of two former SBD SD45-2s.
They have been upgraded with a EM2000 computer control system and derated to 3400 HP. The locomotives are currently working off horsepower hours on another regional railroad in Southeastern Wisconsin but it is hoped the 3016 will come home along with 6 other EMD sister by the end of the year.
Work was done by Mark and Marvin Pressular
