I want to remove the numbers off of my Kato NW2's number board and replace it with another. Can I get a tip on how to do this?

Cover it over with another decal and renumber, depending on the color, a lite brush with matching paint may do the trick also.

I have used alcohol as described above on Kato number boards with no problems.

another thing that i tried not too long ago and worked awesome, start with clear number boards. use word or another document type program, insert a block, colour it black, then use the insert feature and add the numbers, but put the colour of the numbers to white. Then using clear decal paper print them. What happens is when you print them, because your printer cant print white it leaves the numbers clear but prints the black all around them, so you have the numbers. This will give you lighted number boards if you really want them.

Why do it the old school way? Shellscale makes numberboard decals that can be lit! They make most numberboard fonts, shapes, and sizes, as well as ones with gaskets, white on black, black on white, etc although the white on black numberboards cannot be lit.
