I was wondering if there is a difference in a FDL diesel and the 7FDL diesel? Wikipedia & the ESU Lokpilot homepage got me quite confused, when I was looking into it ... one time it says 7FDL and then it says FDL. This is way mixed between U boats, dash 7 and dash 8 series and even newer locos ... but on the ESU side the FDL series is only for U boats and dash 7 locos, the 7FDL series for dash 8 and up to everything before the AC series locos ... see here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_GE_locomotives and here: www.esu.eu/index.php?id=346I wonder for which 16 cylinder powered locos I could use the Tsunmai FDL-16 sound decoder, which is released now? Then ... which locomotives had a turbocharged FDL, was there one existing? Hope one can help, it keeps me quite confusing here. Thanks, *** EDIT *** just found this site, which keeps undelining my confusion!!! www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,946570 there in the first post it notes all U boats and dash 7 series locos with 7FDL ! HELP !!! lol ;D
