Nice detail shots. I was going to put together a model of BNSF 6158 (ex-BN 6158 nee-CBQ 356) using a Cannon cab and P2K SD9 shell. I put the cab and nose on but then that project fell by the wayside.
6158 was pretty much the same as the 1551 but from what I've seen on RRPA it's not RC-equipped and looks like it was stored at Silvis (no new pics since 2005).

ya, the SD9-3 rebuild project was another one of those 567/645 replacement jobs the old BN guard loves (me too!). But, the reason for this project was to supply less expensive 6 axel switching power with the shorter wheel-base and Tier-whatever compatible. I read on the BNSF forum that configuration is needed in the northwest with tighter radius in yards. But, the project was cut short with only a few of those units completed out of the many that were planned. I believe the remaining SD9s were put out to pasture.
