This is an Atlas "Classic" series locomotive with mostly Kaslo and MBE parts added. This unit actually made it into RMC's pages in July 2008. A little history on this unit. I first met her in 1998 after a good friend and I bicycled to Smith's Falls from Ottawa at the tender age of 17. We watched her and 4210 switch SF yard. Unbeknownst to us, they were the last 2 in service anywhere on the system. They were retired within the year, (I think.) #4237 is now beautifully preserved at the Canadian Railway Museum in Delson. I have to commend Atlas on this re-released shell. The only mods I had to do were the inertial filters aft the cab. Other than that, the cab steps, side sill and rear carbody were all PERFECT. A steal for $100. Thanks, Efram eframellenbogen.blogspot.com

Great looking build. I am currently working on a model of CP 4200. I am going crazy and changing out all of the latches with EMD style knucklebusters. Eventually I would like to build a model of the 4237 as well since I got to see her up close this past May.

Nice looking unit! Who makes the square filters behind the cab?
I was fortunate to see the 4202, 4203, 4204, 4210 & 4214 at different times working under the Quebec Railway Corp with ERS or NBEC reporting marks. They sure sounded great in a consist.

Railnet, It looks like he used the Miniatures by Eric casting. I am going to try Railflyer's etchings and some old Kaslo resin squares for mine. Hope this helps.

Someone was around to catch all five of those heading to Homewood for resale...he also did a model of one as a CP unit on this forum

I chased and RS18u (1868??) leading 4 other MLWs thru London, I'd like to say 1999 (??) and they were heading East, Windsor to Toronto. Little did I know that was the last run of the MLWs in southern Ontario. I'm pretty sure 4210 and 4237 were in the consist, but I've since burned those brain cells.
