Freshly out of the paintshop is Milwaukee Road #2013. It started as an Atlas undec GP40, got some extra details, paint and done...

Just remember the Milwaukee used an electronic bell on these when built, looking like an odd pair of speakers next to the horn. Later in the late 70's, they got a standard bell mounted on the side of the long hood behind the cab. Even the decorated Milwaukee units Atlas did have this wrong.

Looks good. Did all of the GP40's have the plates mounted on the dynamic hatch with the numbers on them, or was that only some of the order? That's about the only other thing that jumps out at me on an otherwise great looking unit.

The Milwaukee had 72 GP-40's spread over several orders. Almost all had the number plates. The oddball non-dynamic units had the numbers painted on, as did the last order of standard units. John Looks good. Did all of the GP40's have the plates mounted on the dynamic hatch with the numbers on them, or was that only some of the order? That's about the only other thing that jumps out at me on an otherwise great looking unit.
