Hi
Where would I start to build a scratchbuilt model in HO of the GM10B (GM10) What would be a suitable platic body to start with ?
Are there any articles out there on a scratchbuilding one of these ?
Thanks Charlie

Hi
Yes, I will look at the GM6C. Although I did have my mind made up on the GM10. I like the three sets of trucks etc. Quite different.
'simulatortrain' if you do progress with a mold for the body, I would be interested. Just the basic frame is all required and then all details, grills etc, can be added as required. Apparently there is a drawing in Contempory Diesel Spotters guide. I cannot confirm that though. Trucks etc can be a kitbash, and fun to do I bet. Do you have access to a printer in 3D ?
Thanks guys

If somebody asked me to build this thing, I'd pack up and go home!

GM6 would be difficult, I wouldn't even know where to begin with GM10. Good luck with your build, it'll definately be one of the most unique models around.
I'm with slowfreight, those are definately beyond my skills.
