Good morning-
I had some spare Athearn Impack container cars sitting around, so I decided to do something with them.
I went to my hobby shop and found the last three package of the railpower brackets that they made for the car, and I decided to make trash container cars out of them.
I picked up some of the new Atlas trash containers, and after a little modifications to the brackets, they are done.
It's nice to make something out of basically nothing. These cars I've had forever hanging around, so it's nice to do something with them.
Thanks Matt

Ha, I was about to ask that same question Robert....I aways scan the background pictures for something trying to hide and am a big fan of critters.
Oh and by the way Matt...Great job on the trash train!

Hey Steve-
I got mine at AA Hobbies in Warwick Rhode Island, but bad news- I cleaned him out.
You can also get them on evilbay- some guys still have them.

Nice...I've been trying to come up with a way model the garbage haulage on flatcars less than 86-ft to make the somewhat tight curves going into my Intermodal facility...Looks like this can be a simple scratch-build project to convert a few of the Impact cars I have from 'piggyback' to 'trashback' container service. Thanks for sharing.
