Hi Guys Tidied a a couple of handrail issues on M&E 4264 that's been sitting idle on my bench for far too long. The model is former SP&S 326 that became BN 4264, went to the Kyle, then Mass Central, Pook Valley, M&E, and is now part of the impressive Alco fleet on the WNY&P, and still wearing its Mass Central Milwaukee style scheme. Modifications include new fuel and air tanks, rear mounted battery boxes(LHS), reshaped cab steps and handrails, proper Alco notches on the rear and the radiator bulges. Doh! Forgot the antenna! The Life-Like C-424s have been flamed a bit for not looking right. The overall proportions are just fine, it's the cab roof and short hood front edge I have trouble with. The cab roof is too flat acrooss the top and too curved at the edge while the short hood lacks the fine feather edge. An Atlas C-628 cab abd short hood would fix those. I remember seeing this engine down at the shops a few years ago. Only ever saw it once, and I don't think I ever got a picture of it.
