I always find it odd to see trucks carrying railroad stuff because of the fact that trains compete with the trucking industry

Being a fan of the Big Rigs as well as a Rail Fan and at all the truck stops I stop at while on the road to take pictures, not once have I seen two of my favorite things together like this. What a great catch this is. I sure am glad you shared these!

Your welcome Paulie. To this day, I can never catch a rig hauling the GE fuel tanks on a flatbed at a truckstop, I only see them going down the highway, they carry 2 of them mounted sideways, the bottom of the fuel tanks face outward. One of these days I hope to get a pic of that. Also, these loads come out of Mexico and head to Erie, PA. Imagine that

Great picture. Also a neat thing to model is the dynamic grid section of a hood on stands, called a load rack, . This is so that a locomotive can be electrically hooked up to the test rack and powered up to get load test on the locomotive while parked next the the load rack.
