Captive rock power...

I was just working on a couple of models and did a little weathering(or more) and wanted to share these just because.. Was using Pollyscale dullcoat and this is the result I ended up with ,now I did add Pollyscale Dust to the mix but not alot..

It looks like the engines that are used down here is South Texas on the rock trains after a rain shower and the power is sitting in the rock plant waiting for the cars to be loaded by front end loaders.. As the loaders go by they splash rock mud up on the engines and it looks kinda like this,especially like the RG&S SD50...

Bench ,yeah I try to put most of my stuff away after I am done since I am gone for 2 to 3 days at a time and I dont want any sticky hands(wife) borrowing my stuff,if she does for some reason it never makes it back to my bench..

Ok I have to finish up the SD45-2 and SD50 (done as of today,I think) and then I will post close-ups..,Thanks guys appreciate it the words...

Seriously, that looks great, I love weathered diesels, and one or two that look like they've been neglected for years (or worked very hard) in the mix is great! I've seen more dirty ones than clean in real life.
