I found the prototype while surfing the net, so I figured this would be a good project. I could only find a Walthers 85 Budd Dormatory car that was close to the original. Not all the windows were in the correct location, but as I am just starting back up in the hobby, I did not want to bite off more than I can chew. So I added all the grab irons to the kit, added the decals, added the number plate for the car number, added some air hoses, MU Hoses, and just waiting to weather and dullcote it. I think it turned out pretty good, not 100 percent correct, but close enough for me for now. Here is the prototype. espee.railfan.net/sp-police-passenger.html

Great Subject Mark! Nice to see something different and it looks like you did a great job of it too. Some day after I finish a Bay window in regular SP paint, I want to do one of thier Urban Jungle Police cabooses. Keep up the great work. Paul

yes I agree it came out great! didnt athearn do a SP bay window police cabooseif my memory serves me right?
