I thought I would share some shots of my current project. ILSX 1374 is ex-DM&IR SD9 155. ILS chopped the hood, dropped the 5 chime for a single and changed the paint to their Soo Line inspired scheme. I started with an Atlas SD9, details are MBE, Atlas, BLMA and JnJ I need to do a little work to get the cab to fit tighter, but I'm getting closer. Here's the prototype for reference... I'll be doing a previous lettering on the long hood, it will say ILS instead of the elevator name.

...Do you plan on modelling the odd looking fuel tank as well Karl? The fuel tank is next on my to do list. I want to make sure I get the look right. It is really the trait that screams DMIR on this engine. I have to do a little more research before I finalize my design.

At least you shouldn't have to cut away motor support out of the frame for this fuel tank mod (as opposed to something like a SOO or MILW rebuild unit where half of the tank is gone altogether).
