During 2006/2007 you had a great chance to catch 2 of these beauty's in charge of leading one of Canadian Pacific's hot Chicago - Montreal Inter-modal trains. I couldn't resist the Proto2000 models, did minor detailing with the supplied Proto details, some DW and DA parts and light weathering.
My plan was to model a CP container train with a nice mix of modern well cars and some 60'er and 40'er. But as plans for my new layout evolved, I realized that CP was no longer part of it. So SOO 6006 and 6058 are sitting in a display case (6058 has some major engine problems too. I expect the Proto disease, but I haven't investigated it yet.).
