School is on the front-burner in a rolling boil! Unfortunately the projects are on the back-burners barely simmering.... Sorry about the cooking metaphors, but the wife has been having the Food Network playing in the background while I do my studying/homework. I might get a little break on Friday or Sunday to get some work done though. Rick Well Rick, I'm proud of you. The Eighth Grade can be really tough! I should know I called it my senior year Hahahah.. Ok.... I'll stick to building models, no more attempts at comedy.. Seriously, I hope you find the balance and can get back after that GP40-2, it's going to look great I'm sure! Thanks again for the comments and support, Your bud, Paul

Very nice, but it looks like, and correct me if I'm wrong, the headlights are jeweled or MV lenses? Why not light it? Jon, It has MV lenses temped in because I didnt want to take pictures with nothin but holes in the ends ;D...I am waiting for the Fedex guy to bring the shop the Tsunami and speaker friday. Thank you for the kind words and checking out my build Paul

Well detailed, painted and weathered. A good looking engine all around. Steve Thank you for checking out how it came out Steve! I'm glad you like it. It was a blast to build and I am about to start 6866 soon! I'm sure the second one will go much faster (knock on wood) Chris K did an amazing job when he mastered this one for Athearn, and without the layers of " factory" paintjob on it, it's a real gem out of the box. Thanks again for the kind words, Paul

Somehow I missed this back in September but this model is a BEAUTY! Great to see someone pull off a REAL SD45T-2R with all the right GRIP II rebuild fixings. Awesome weathering job too... love the look of those SP lobotomized locos!
