As you may or may not know from other sections of this board I am putting all my detailing/modeling focus into doing the Empire builder in the late 1980's.
I was wondering if any one had any idea where I could get a superliner transition sleeper. The transition coach that I think walthers makes really dosn't cut it in terms of accuracy.

Well the only issue with the Walthers version is that it is in Phase 4 I need phase 2-3 I think striping the decals on that one would ruin the silver finish.

Well it looks like you will either need to find a match for the paint, or fill and remake some windows on either a Kato or a Walthers(still needs paint). Depending on the finish you may be able to burnish off the lower portion of the stripe, I took the orange off a WP proto F3 using a 4 way nail file,(colors are red, blue, white, and Gray) You can cut it to be how narrow you need it.
