this is a before and after thing first we have an Old pemco body with a cannon Hn1011 kit i took the old pemco chassis out of the shell and replaced it with an older atlas roco SD 24 chassis complete with running gear all I had to do to make the chassis fit the pemco SD 35 was cut 2 notches in the front of the frame and she fit like a glove. I did this over 15 years ago!now its time to replace a few parts here and there on it the parts will be handrails builder plates wrong ones i need the oval type.fans.coupler cut lever bars and install a 1,5v lighting system and cut off the break cylinder and replace them and fill in the gap on the old atlas fuel tank and add fuel tank details air filter and add air tanks and the details that come with it! I will keep you posted as I work on it.I also have an SOUTHERN SD 40-2 that I will be simultaneously work on at the same time i just got a parts order in so its time to get cracking on it! That looks great! The Pemco SD35 shell is heavily based on the Atlas shell, but includes walkway tread.
I'm building my Southern SD35 using the newer Atlas Classic model. I've added quite a few Cannon details to mine including:
Inertial filter hatch Air intake grilles DB fans Rad fans Turbo hatch Jacking pads Step lights for the long hood
I'm in the process of modifying Athearn later low-brake-reservoir sideframes to replace the early style triple clasp Flexicoil sideframes. I'm following along with the Bob Harpe clinic that used to be on this site and is now on Youtube.

That looks GREAT, Terry!! I completely forgot about Pemco. Didn't it come with awful slotted out pilots and horrible truck mounted couplers? Either way, nice work!!
