Hi Guys, This is my most resent D&H kit bash of a wide vision caboose. These cabooses were the first steel cabooses on the road, built in 1959 they spent their first fifteen years on the Penn Division. This project started out as a Atlas WV caboose, I changed the copula to a Athearn w/ laser kit windows and scratch built roof ribs. Moved the windows around on the sides to match the prototype and cut down Cannon cab windows to make the small porthole windows on the sides. Battery and tool boxes come from Molco & a Walthers bay window kit. I also added a Plano roof walk and end platforms. Along with Molco see thru steps and Details West draft gear for the couplers. Two other details are Hi-tech details air hoses and working rear end warring lights wired to a decoder via fiber optics, using Detail Associates ditch lights castings for the light housing. Enjoy! Erik
