What up all? Im Jim, 38 yrs. old, from the shores of the mighty Hudson River in NY.
I grew up in Haverstraw, NY. 100' FROM THE WEST SHORE LINE(OOPS!) watching Conrail trains go bye.

I have really only been into HO scale trains for the past month or so, before that My hobby was riding freestyle BMX bikes but at 38 my body doesnt recover as well as it used too, lol.

Anyway, AWESOME work thats being displayed here. As I said , Im totally green, so please bear with me with the stupid questions I will inevitably ask, lol.

PEIR- I am going to model "THE CSX FAMILY",lol. I will be basing my layout on the lower hudson valley(ie. speciffically(sp?) Haverstraw-Stony point, ny.). Thats where I live and within 5 miles of track we have 2 rock quarries, an electric plant, a coal burning electric plant, a gypsum(sheetrock) plant, a lumber yard with spur,even a M.O.W. siding.
