Well, after it's been sitting in our shop for the past few months, I've amassed a collection of literally hundreds of detail shots of ex-BAR BL2 #54. Today I had to remove the firecracker antenna due to clearance issues from overhead wires on New Jersey Transit, so while I was up there anyway... well, I took some pictures. I also have a full set of measurements for the two winterization hatches. If you need a particular detail shot or you want the measurements, PM me. The good news is that the work on this engine is done and it will be back in service to pull the excursion next Wednesday at the NRHS convention in Scranton. Here's a few samples of the pictures I have. If you need anything specific that I don't already have, contact me in the next two days while the engine is still in our shop! Yes, that is a massive patch of BAR blue showing through the black on the hood behind the cab in the last picture.

Thanks for the detail postings, Rude Dude, those are going to be VERY helpful in the future! Where did you relocate the radio antenna?

Haha, it's laying on the conductor's seat inside the cab right now. They just have to bolt it back onto the roof in the same location when it makes it back out to its home.

Just be careful where you sit, my man!!

Well, she shipped out this morning, and a friend caught it on NYS&W SU-99 this afternon. It means we should have our other C424 back next week.
