I hve come across an SD80MAC and was wondering what you would like to see it painted for. The onyl options are Conrail, CSX and NS. If you want CSX or NS would you want patch or thier actual paint scheme? I am trying to get a feel for what people want most.
Thanks, Smoke

A modern day Pennsy in the tuscan red with the gold strips............but since you only gave us 3 choices the CSX latest scheme.

I have 7 rail power mods. 2 are Conrail...the 4100 and the 4108, I built them long before Kato came out with their beautiful models. A third is nearly finished in Kevin Burkholder's Great Lakes Eastern ( he used to live nearby and sold me some decals), two others are probably going to be for the Aurora & Portland once I get the ok from jerome and I am still mulling over what to do with the other two....I have considered a tuscan and a green one with pennsy stripes for lease service.....although the units for the CIOR are pretty cool!!
The bottom line is what ever makes you happy.

I have decided to paint it for NS. It was the easiest paint and and with school that is a good thing. Plus the last couple engines that I have done have been CSX YN3.
