Psssst...hey buddy, what's up? Well, I'm going to make my first SD-30. I have SD-35 parts and 2 GP-30 shells on the way. I'm not sure if it's gonna be high hood or low hood yet, but I like the looks of Dan's SD-30. On another note, I'm still working on the SD50 S, and the IT SD-39. What are you scheming? Psssst.....tell us what yer up to.

(Stage Whisper) Don't tell anyone else, Randy, but I am gathering the necessary goodies to do an SD28 in Columbus & Greenville Railway livery. I'll start with an SD35 as the basis, and go downhill from there......

To quote Indiana Jones, "I hate snakes!" It wouldn't have lived to see 6 ft 1 inch at my house. Hope it left on your terms Sarge.

Did you poke it with a stick until it hissed, grab it by the tail, dangle its head by your feet, and jump around avoiding its fangs as you attempted to describe what it was to fascinated bystanders?

I almost stepped on one about that size in the piny woods of east Texas and the girl friend had a COW when she "Notice" why I had stopped so abruptly

Cold and snow and big snakes can be had in the same areas. Southern Minnesota has Timber Rattlers in many areas. In the areas around Winona they were verry common til they offered a bounty for them in (I think) the late 60's and almost wiped them out. They still are around, but not commonly seen there, but a few miles either way ya still need to watch out. Cold and snow don't seem so bad after looking at that
