Ahhhh.... the sweet smell of LUCK!!! So far I've been getting lucky as all getout, just about everywhere I went this month I've been able to railfan, parking at truckstops right next to the tracks has yielded some interesting finds. Today, I parked at yet another truckstop (hehehe) and caught these two Gensets before they left out. Enjoy the fruits of my labor. 3/31/2010 La Porte, TX Railpower RP20GE's

Chris, these are ex MP B23-7's, I don't like the type of gensets that Atlas came out with, I am going to wait for someone to come out with this type, preferably in the Athearn Genesis line (one could only wish). Believe me, I don't really like Gentsets, GEVO's and ACe's because of the whole global warming nonsense that brought these units to life, other than that, I do like the shapes of them, bring back the Mac's, AC4400CW's and all the rebuilt loco's of the past. I talked to the Conductor of this train, and he said these units are alright, not the best thing since sliced bread though, and they have four diesel engines each.

Scott, do you ever see a company called Katoen Natie, on the north side of 225, they have a fairly big stub ended yard there, thats where I picked up my load from. So I was in your neck of the woods. lol

Glenn,
Yeah I am very familiar with Katoen Natie, as we are the railroad that works them, not really my neck of the woods, I live in Katy but work on the east side of Houston for the Port Terminal Railroad.
