Here are a couple bashed rs locos I did. I will post these and look through my pics and see if I have the completed paint pics. I call these the hammerhead and the t-rex. Finshed hammerhead Both were ahm units. One a gp-18 and the other a rs-3. Not exactly proto but fairly close.

Thanks guys. Not much info on the plow unit. It was just a pic I found somewhere and though I had a couple riv rs units that I was going to thow away.
The hammerhead is wrong because it is on the gp chasis but to put the long hood on the rs chasis meant a little more bashing with extending the long hood. I was and still not up to that big of a bash. So that is how the trex was born. I needed to reuse the rs frame so I built the trex. They were both powered units and ran great when I repowered them.

CNW did have an ex-MSTL GP9 that had its regular short hood replaced with with an RS-style short hood (prior to getting a "normal" chopped nose during rebuilding in the 1970's), I don't recall the roadnumber to search for pics...
