All right more things I need to work on and this does not even cover my passenger car projects. So if this was your project what would you change? I have a few parts for these, but i would like to hear others opinions before I put anything else out, after all, as I have seen on someone's signature, I have a railroad to build. The inspiration The starting point hehe, I got two, I can't help myself, this is addicting!!!

Why not wait on the E8's and finish some other project like the passenger cars or make progess on the layout? Too many irons in the fire leads to nothing being finished.....I know from what I speak..... For I am the KING of too many builds at one time and not enough being accomplished. I'd gradually pick up the parts and stash them with the E8's until you feel you've got some of your laundry list of projects finished. Oh they are not even on the back burner, but as I come accross finds at the Hobby Shop and Elsewhere, I want to have a mental list. I love the multi-iron method, planning is king, I do agree completion is critical, but I am progressing on my Fs and should have some pics up with in a week. just slowly stripping. The parts are in there plastic shoe boxes, but I have 3 more empty plastic shoe boxes that need to have a purpose. All my son needs is more lego storage, lol.

;D Me, I'd paint em Milwaukee... Strike that, paint em Amtrak. But that's just me. ;D When I get to where I want to be latyout wise, I'm gonna need at least 2 full Amtrak trains (4 to do it right). One North Coast Hiawatha, and the other Empire Builder. For a full days operation I'd need to turn em both, or better yet have 2 full sets of each. E's were hardly seen by the mid-70's on the Builder, but the NC-Hi still had em mixed in with the SDP-40F's. Dang it, I'll need 4 to 6 SDP's for this as well.............. John All right more things I need to work on and this does not even cover my passenger car projects. So if this was your project what would you change? Paint um Silver, silver is the Q...... errr I mean Key ;-)
Oh I think I might want to have a shot at the title of King of to many fires and not enough finnishing... Lord do I have to many things going on at once, the biggest part of my freight car list is either A not built, B missing trucks from robbing them for a trade I did for Athearn BB trucks for sprung trucks, Not enough metal wheel sets to even think about putting trucks on 99% of it, then the Kadee's will be running out in about 30 more cars.... plus dabbleing here and there with diesel detailing, weathering cars a little, and that aint counting buildings that need built, finnished, layout planning, and doing it lal trying to organize and condence the numbers of stacks of boxes and take a count of locos and freight cars..... and I'm not retired, lol...
