okay, I have finally posted some photos of my work, only 3 mp camera so a bit grainy, but I can finally say others outside my family are able to see what I am doing.

Thank you, I tried something different, I coated with bottom white glue, then painted translusent stain(craft paint type stuff, then took and old metallic amber paint (testors) and used the clear solution without shaking, I like the effect, I just could not bring myself to having clear water in a firewall that would typically have oil and saltwater, with some rainwater in the mix.

Well done, Justin! I like that effect. Since we have oil as an industry on our club layout, I might have to steal that technique! ;D Steal away, everything we do is a copy of something else. I will try to get some better shots soon and quit asking questions and making comments on others work.
