This is an awesome project. I have been following it for awhile. Between Dan's F45 and Smoke's SD45-2 and a drawing I found, I have been inspired to do a F45 A-B-A set ;D I have six shells, so I may start sacraficing 2 of them for the B tonight.

I'd love to know what he used for the wire screen over the radiator grills. I've been looking for a fine mesh-like material exactly like that for replacing the screen used over the radiator fans on the Spectrum H16-44's.

I have a little more done on the BN F45. She got her coat of green & black this weekend. Now I can start decaling, installing the windows, handrails and then touching up any paint that needs it. Then it off to the "weathering shop" ;D Dan

Jim,
I used the Cannon & Co. fans, #1705 for the radiator and #1853 for the dynamic.

Outstanding Dan! I very much appreciate your hard work on an old Athearn BB kit.

Here's a couple of shots showing current progress. I've got the decals applied, now just need to install grabs and handrails and touch up the paint. Dan
