Hi, all. . . I'm from the Philippines . . . The following entry is an edited version of my post on IPMS-Philippines (Bert Anido Chapter) of 10 Feb 2k10 on modeling my country's state owned railroad (Philippine National Railway) PNR's GE motive power in it's new livery l... www.rihspi.org/From the above website, the photo of the prototype.... The model on its initial painting stages... i.e., corporate logo and the orange band on the long hood have to be added . . as well as the black painting of the frame . . . Another shot along with a 40-ft container van toting Single Crew Cab in 87th scale...(the white styrene things on the foreground are the skeletal chassis.) The model used is a U-20C from Frateschi of Brazil that I had it masquerade as U-14/15 by narrowing the original "pug" nose.. I left untouched the length of the long hood to avoid extensive work on the mechanism... The markings artwork and decal (as can be seen behind the model in above photos) are both self and home made... This is the state of the model as of this evening.. I'll complete the painting by tomorrow... and, I'll post photo of the completed work... I'm glad I came to know this site and learn so many on the subject.. Thanks for reading... MABUHAY from the Philippines!!! Farouk
