The closest thing I have to a LHS is Hobbylobby, and they don't sell styrene. Where else can I look localy, as in what other kind of store may have some? I am tired of having to order everything over the net and waiting for it to show up.

I buy mine on ebay. I just do a search for evergreen or plastruct.

Yeah, that's were I buy almost everything. I was just wondering if there might be someplace I could look around here. Probably not but worth a shot.

I was just reading in RMC (I think) about a guy that used .060 sheet styrene as his backdrop on his layout. He stated in the article that he was able to acquire a 4'x8' sheet of it from a local plastics distributor. A sheet like that could last for DECADES! Now, I don't know what "local plastics distributor" means, but if you live in or near a medium to major city, you should be able to find one. I can think of a few near me, Spartech, Advanced Composites... Time to get the phone book and let your fingers do the walking!

Muncie's Spartech? If so, last I knew they only made "preforms" for soda bottles.
Unless you are talking another Spartech?
