Here are some nattily attired switchers courtesy of Manufacturers Railway Company in St. Louis, MO, which is owned by the brewers of Budweiser, the king of bottled, um, beer. To wit: MK rebuild TE47-4E 253 (ex-S4 208). A story I heard from an MRS mechanic was that when the 208 arrived at MK, a call was made back to MRS asking if they really wanted to rebuild it as it was in great condition....sigh. MP15DC 252 SW1500 257 (ex-N&W 2295, ITC 1514)

I picked up a load of beer from St. Louis before, and while I was waiting I got to watch the SW1500 bangin cars around.
Also, it looks like the SW1500 in the bottom pic has a hint of Southern persuation in her.

The white stripe is actually a carry over from the MRS Alcos. The 253 and the MP15's were delivered without the white, for reasons unknown.
