Back in April I hosted a OPS SIG event, it was a large event, and had guys in from all over the county. Had 2 session, over 2 days and this is the final session.

I felt that way also. When I was in Crew Tansport, for a little while we were dispatched by the railroad dispatchers from our homes, so I had the radio on 24-7. The CSX IH Dispatcher would call me for assists to the Bessemer Yard for CSX Crews because I only live a block from the yards.

Thanks, we try and keep it as real as possible. Its funny to get guys that aren't into proto ops, and they get upset when the dispatcher holds them at a location for a time so a local can flip mains or work a hot industry. Or they get upset when the yardmaster comes on and tells them to hold at CP-East crossover because he is JAMMED!
It also helps to have several real railroaders in there too....
