GE uses the C designation on all of their locomotives that ride on six wheel trucks, since your model will ride on four there would be no need for the C. Maybe this unit could be a GP50W or GP50WR.

Looks like where I was headed a few weeks ago with that GP38-2M and later decided to make it into a GP38-2W using a Canadian Cab. I still have that EMD "M" cab.

I would say GP60M. I am still thinking about changing the blower and DBs to turn this one into a 60. Are there any othe robvious differences?
I realized it wouldn't be a "C" after I posted it, just didn't go back and fix it.

Sarge, I'd go with the "W" designation. We need to figure out what rail rebuilder is creating these abominations and put an end to it Dave The "W" sound better to me as well, and yeah I guess we need to figure out who did it Were are or did you relocate your hand brake wheel too?

I was looking at Railflyers kit to mount it in the side of the long hood like the Canadian GPs

I relocated the brakewell on my GP38-2W, I just haven't taken a pic of it yet. I'm thinking about getting some of those Plano louvers also.

Randy, looks like a GP50 but with 2 (besides the cab) noticeable differences that make it a GP60. Angled blower housing with step and taller and wider dynamic brake blister. It also has the incorrect handrails on the brakeman's side. I'll replace those with these soon. Notice how these handrails have a second bend in them right at the blower housing? I didn't notice it right away. I'd say with the 4 window Canadian Cab it's a GP-60W. Had you put the cab I had on my Geep it would have definitely been a GP-60M.
