Very nice work, Greg, especially the "sideswipe" streak of rust!

Greg, I went to your blog and enjoyed your other models. The "b" end of your LO shows a weak spot that can be corrected with almost no effort, the brake wheel. DW makes a set of very thin wheels. They include all of the popular styles. Just a idea.

Bobby,
I noticed a few things on my large photo I am going to correct. I have a bunch of those brake wheels and I think I will change it out! Thanks for the suggestion!!

Greg, you should have painted it cascade green if you are modeling it in the BN era. It would look a lot better thats for sure. Your buddy Hoover

Glenn,
BN did not have any money to paint old cars...mostly because they are bunch of tightwads!!!
See you soon!

I love it, very nicely done! I've seen numerous untouched GN "Big Sky Blue" 60' woodchip hoppers while out railfanning, so this model's right at home!

At least the brakewheel is painted the right color.

Painting that ladder stile is a nice, realistic touch, too!
