This is a P2K GP30 that has been modified to be a road slug. Painted and waiting for a coat of future and decals. I have not decided what to mate it to, suggestions are welcome. -Smoke

Make it a Winamac Southern engine... LOL, looks nice. Check out Winamac Southern. Its a Indiana shortline inhaled by RailAmerica several years back, under the CERA/CIND banner at the time. I think the engine was owned by Kokomo grain.

Don't pay any attention to the black spot. It's not there on the model, I did some phot editing. I still have to add ditchlights to the front and put the number on, #2629.

I think it would look good mated to a SD38.

The bell may be wrong for a regular GP30, but since this is a slug and the long hood will be the front, that is where the bell goes. If I am not mistaken, the bell goes on the front of the locomotive.

A couple small details still have to be added. Sill stripes a plow(instead of the foot boards) and weathering!!!!!

I just can't get this one down yet! LOL! You were up too late one night with your mind wondering is my guess! Great job though! That CSX slug looks great. I have one I started about two years ago and will be in tri color. CSXT 2227. It still has a ways to go, But hardest part is over. I just have too much on the bench and not enough time...
