Hey gang, Here is the logo I had made by one of the decal companies many years ago. The logo was on the long hood with the loco numbers on the cab. The railroad never operated in a particular area of the country or had a specific interchange that I was trying to replicate. It was truly a freelanced railroad. I did participate in a decal exchange, so if you have any of the rolling stock, I would love to see them. Right now, I am not sure if I am going to keep this. I have lots of waterslide decals left, so I hope to use them. One thing I want to change is the railroad's color scheme. If anyone has an idea, let me know.

I like the logo. I'm particular to green and white (smiles and snickers).......
I would think a blue and white or perhaps gray would look good. Even using the arrow to separate the color lines? If I wasn't so busy with everything else I might try to work something up.
I had a subsidary road called the "Panhandle Western" that used the arrow type logo like yours. It was the former PRR Panhandle mainline from Pittsburgh to Columbus (via the River Line). I only did one engine that way and it was sent to the floor and never ran again (shell trashed badly) it was a ALCO C630.... It was painted Green and white as well.

Oh no Matt, not a trashed out C630, sniffle, sniffle 5 feet to the floor, the shell was in roughly 20 pieces. The frame was bent beyond rebending it back even close. It did look good.....

Ten years ago, I would have told you I was modeling modern stuff... ;D
I like the Dash 8s, Dash 7s and anything EMD. There is nothing like 4 SD40-2s, shaking the ground, on the point of a coal train. I am not sure what the attraction is, but I like the high short hoods and/or long end forward running. Probably, the TSS should be buying old N&W units?
Intermodal is kinda like the box cars of old, especially in the early-mid 1990s when there were lots of different shapes and sizes of containers/trailers which I find interesting.
So, I guess this places me someplace in the 1990s.
