The only dummies that I can remember (I've been modeling in N since '74) in N are various B units from the likes of Model Power, Life Like, ConCor and Bachmann. I do remember Model Power making a dummy FA unit. None of the current higher end manufacturers (Atlas, Kato, etc) make any. Not that I'm aware of anyway!
I did purchase a body, frame and trucks from Atlas to make a dummy B unit. By doing this, the cost was around $30.00.
I have also done like Jay says and just removed the motor to make a dummy. I did this on a couple slugs that I built years ago.

Ok. Well what im looking for is kind of tricky. Its a freelanced HH SD70 for UP. But at the moment im a bit short on money so i cant exactly buy a powered unit.
And Ebay... Its a bit tricky becouse Im only 14.
And dummy producers that i know of have produced some cab, cowl and hood unit dummys. I do infact have a GP35, a PA, three F7A and an FA dummys.

I'm not sure about the GP35...only one company has made an N GP35, Atlas, so the only other that comes to mind is the Readers Digest give away. That was an SP in speed lettering. Atlas never made a dummy GP35.
You are correct; I forgot about the dummy PA's although I did mention that some dummy B's and FA's were made. I'm not sure about your dummy F7A's though...
I'm also not sure how you will come up with what you are looking for. Like I mentioned above in my previous response, perhaps you can order the parts from the manufacturer to build what you want.
Dummies are not that easy to come by anymore. Also, the dummies that are available do not reflect anything "modern".

Ok. Thanks for all the info so far. cf7: Atleast i think its a GP35. Its painted for Burlington. And the F7 is/was made by Trix & Rapido. 1 each. The third i had forgoten it was a powered unit. I also have a C-liner dummy from Atlas marked and painted for UP. Dont ask where i got it.
