Hello folks, Can anyone point me in the right direction for obtaining color cab interior views of an Oakway SD60? I've decided to detail the cab of my current project and I'd like to try and match the colors. Thanks.

I want to say that they were "Sea Foam Green" which is a light green color. But I could be wrong.

According to the paint sheer diagram that is in the Microscale decal sheet it is called out to be Suede Gray. It is also used on the engine room interior. I know Perry already pointed it out but I wanted to give you the EMD official color. Glenn

may want to check out this month's edition of Railroads Illustrated. They have a large article on these SD60's. And suede grey is a good choice for a color...and it is the same as the engine interior room. Green was more common in first generation and early diesel cabs--I imagine as a holdover from the steam days when some steam engine cabs were painted green. Gray was common after that--and all the way into the late 80's/early 90's, when tan has become the new official color...add to that a significant amount of dirt and grime, and you've got a realistic cab.

Ya, like all the dash 9's that have those plastic inserts that tear up so easy....
