Here is a photo of Chicago & North Western GP7 #4162 that I finished a few months ago. Rock Island rebuild. This locomotive has the correct squared fuel tank, sill cut-away, access doors above the prime-mover along with a long list of other things. It started out as a Proto 2000 GP7, it's painted in the TYb paint scheme, what fun it was adding the scale 2 inch high 4162 decals to the cab sides and on the rear! This unit is lightly weathered to match the prototype.

I was lucky enough to get to see the engine in person. I was drooling over it and the SP SD9 he brought. Andrew is an excellent modeler!

Hey guys, thanks for the nice comments! I will try to get some more pix uploaded soon. The all-weather window is actually stock Proto 2000, nice to actually have something in those detail packs that you can use! I plan to do another one soon, probably CNW 4153 (chop-nosed) or CNW 4160. I've always admired the CNW for running GP7's along with the big GE's and EMD's...looked cool.

Andrew, when you get ready to do another CNW unit let me know. We need to get together and share some tips.
