This is another one that has spent some time in my display case; I modeled it during my ACL days. Since my plan was to model the mid 60's, the FT's were on their last leg so I weathered it to reflect that. I also removed the fuel tank skirts, cut down the top of the tank and added a few details. The yellow stripes are painted on.

F-units are one of those things that just get better with age. The more you modify one, the more interesting it becomes. That FT looks really nice.

Chuck, your work is amazing!! I can appreciate the work done on the truck journals. I have modified two sets for NC&StL F-units and have the scars to prove it. Difficult chore, but worth every minute of it ;D

Thanks very much y'all! As you can probably tell, there is really no prototype that I follow. My wife told me years ago to model what I like and when I get tired of it, get rid of it and model something else. Works for me!
