Ex-PC (never got painted out and CR'ed), ex-NH #528.... Model is almost finished, needs paint on the coupler pockets and the handrails... Closeup of chipped PC black, revealing NH red underneath:

This brings back many memories. I grew up in a former New Haven town. My grandfather had a trucking line which interchanged lots of freight with the railroad. Many of these old PC RS3s were the normal power. I was arranged several rides on these.

Thats a good looking RS3.
I have always liked the RS3s, its one of my favorites. But sadly I cant model any PC RS3s because they didnt operate RS3s in the area I model. P

Great job on that Rudy. That looks just like I remember them when they were at Northup Ave. yard in Providence, RI.
