Atlas has some decorated shells available. One of the available shells is the C424/C425, and they have a shell available painted up and ready to go in Apache Railway.

Too bad Atlas won't redo the C-424 (the C-425 and RS-11 as well) without dynamics. None of the original GBW engines had them, just the used C-424s and the C-420. And Atlas did the used C-424's (319-322) already......... John

That's why we are the Diesel Detailer, we make and modify locomotives to make them prototypical.

Very true. Lots of work to fix, though, and ya gotta be caeful not to lose the rest of the detail around the dynamics. And better to start with an undec than try to rework a painted unit that way. Have to remove the whole dyamic hatch (carve/cut/fill/file/sand) as well as fill some of the extra side vents along the top edge of the hood. I will need to do this for both my GBW and CNW RS-11 and C-424/425 units. Luckily, my SPSL ordered their Alco's with dynamics..................
