Hi Guy's. Anyone here in this group building any ICG/VMV Paducah GP rebuilds. As i'm modeling Iowa Interstate rr in "HO" scale i'll have quite a few Paducah Gp's to build, so i'm looking to see what other modelers are doing with this.

I'm not, but i know in the Model Railroader book "Detailing Diesel Locomotives" there is a whole chapter in which they do build one of the ICG Paducah Rebuilds.

I remember an article way back in the '90s about these.

Hi Guy's. Thanks for the replies about Paducah 1st Gen GP's. The modeled version of the ex MILW rd. GP20 in Georgetown rr is a good model & your photos are much better than mine. At least not blurry. Actually some of the ex Milw rd. GP20 rebuilds operated for some time on the now Fallen Flag Chicago Central & Pacific rr in Iowa in very tired Milwaukee rd. livery. I might be looking at building 1 or 2 "HO" models of these later & your model gives me much enthusiasm & thought. Many Thanks. Regards. Pete H. Australia

Sorry to resurrect this 4 1/2 year old thread, but those cabs are Paducah SW14 switcher cabs, not for Geeps.
