Can someone recommend a good close pevlar blue
I have a HH GP30 and found a 1979 pic of an N&W HH GP30 in blue which fits my fall 1979 Era perfect
I use tru-color paints

Try Wabash Blue, it was used on the repaints of the GP, F7's and Trainmasters and the new U25's, GP35's. I used Scalecoat II on those engines as below. Rick Jesionowski

Ok looks quite light for an N&W hh gp30 Take a look see what true color has to offer in Wabash blue Sorry, I tried Tru-Color and it was like trying to use Acrylics, so I stick with Scalecoat. Also that blue was not at all consistent, I found pictures from very dark to lighter than what I have. Also Prevlar Blue was the Wabash Blue color.

Me I have no issue's with tru color biggest thing is you still have to thin it out 50/50 paint/acetone
