Is 200 dollars a fair price for a P2K 2-8-8-2 in HO? I’m thinking of getting one on the ‘Bay.

If DCC and NIB, yes, it's a fair price.

If DCC and NIB, yes, it's a fair price. What’s a good price for NIB and DC? I can’t find any that are DCC, other than 2 auctions that I lost a few days ago for 240-50 bucks

Also, I’m seeing something about Roco Y3, as well as a P2k one as well. Any thoughts on those?

I have two Rivarossi articulated locomotives, NIB and DC (1995 production), which I would sell for $175 each, so I would say $175 is a good price for the P2K you described.

Apparently the first run of P2K 2-8-8-2s were actually N&W Y3s, which had slightly different features compared to the rest of the USRA mallets(most noticeable is the lack of front mounted air pumps). Those were made by roco, who I can only assume continued producing Y3s and placing them in their own packaging(seems to be the same box with different printing.) I saw those on Walmart and Amazon... For 800-900 dollars

I’m eyeing a roco one on eBay, ends in 6 days. Hope the price doesn’t jump too much as its an auction, its currently just 60 bucks!
